Policies

Refunds:

No refunds can be issued, after the service has been completed. We work closely with the client to ensure that every step of the procedure/service is thoroughly explained, and approved by them via signed paperwork, prior to recieving the treatment. Clients are made aware of the potential risks associated with receiving permanent makeup, and are aware that retention cannot be guaranteed due to the fact that each individual's skin is unique and will accept/retain pigment differently. We do everything we can to adjust the variables within our control to accomodate every clients skin- and leave them with the most optimal longlasting results possible. 

Booking Policies

Please note: In order to confirm your booking, you are required to add a card on file through our secured booking system. The card provided will ONLY be charged (*cancellation fee of $50.00) in the event that a client "no-shows" to an appointment or cancels without the required notice of minimum 24 hrs. The card provided does not get charged for any services, nor are clients required to us the card provided to pay for services. If you do not wish to add a card on file, you are welcome to send a non-refundable deposit (50.00) via e-transfer to: bookingbrowsbyrachel@gmail.com - this deposit will be taken off the total of your service on the day of the appointment. While deposits cannot be refunded, we are happy to move the deposit to a new appointment date if needed, provided that at least 24 hours notice is given.

Touchup Policy For Brows:

One touch up is required after 4-12 weeks. Please note that while your touchup is included in the price of your brows; it is meant to be a 4-12 week touchup only. Failing to complete the service by not returning for your 4-12 week touchup- beyond 12 weeks, will result in being charged a fee for the touchup. Please see the timeframes and corresponding prices below:

12+ weeks (3 months and beyond)                 --------- $50 fee for touchup

24+ weeks (6 months and beyond)                --------- $100 fee for touchup

52+ weeks (1 year and beyond)                        --------- Subject to 1 year annual pricing fee ($150)

Late Policy:

If you are going to be late for your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible. Arriving more than 20 minutes late will result in your appointment being cancelled and the $50 cancellation fee will be issued to the payment method you provided, or your deposit (50.00) will be retained, and a new deposit will be required to re-book a new appointment.  We understand that things happen, but with respect to us and our other clients who's appointment may be directly after yours- we cannot accommodate late arrivals of more than 20 minutes.

Previous Permanent Makeup:

If you have had permanent makeup done in the past of any kind (i.e microblading, powder or ombre brows), please send us clear photos of your brows with no makeup and good lighting so we are able to assess what is achievable and set realistic expectations for you as the client. In some cases, the previous work done by another artist cannot adequately be covered or reshaped- and therefore would need to be removed or lightened before proceeding with a powder or ombre brow procedure. Brows by Rachel does not currently offer removal services for permanent makeup. Clients seeking/needing removal can be referred to a tattoo/permanent makeup removal specialist. 

*Please note: Brows by Rachel does not perform "touch-ups" over previous work done by another artist. Rachel custom creates a new set of brows over the old work to adjust and perfect the shape, size and colour of the existing brows, and therefore this is considered a "new service" and is subject to the full cost of a new set of brows.

No guests are permitted to avoid distraction and cross-contamintation. Please arrive unaccompanied to your appointment.
