Ombre Powder brows are a type of permanent makeup that is performed the same way as a tattoo. Once healed, this technique provides a soft, shaded appearance as if you had filled your brows in with powder makeup. Because the brows are tattooed, they are smudge-proof, sweat-proof and waterproof!
Are Ombre Powder brows painful to get done?
Two types of numbing agents are used; before and during the procedure. Some clients who are more sensitive to pain, may experience some discomfort. However most clients describe feeling almost nothing and are very comfortable throughout the procedure. Please note that sensitivity to pain, is heightened during the menstrual cycle. If you are sensitive to pain, please avoid booking your appointment during this time.
Ombre powder brows can last anywhere from 1-3 years. Results can vary based on things like aftercare, skin type, and other factors. By returning for annual touch-ups you can maintain your brows for life.
Do Ombre Powder brows look natural?
Brows will always appear dark and bold immediately after your appointment. Throughout the healing process, the surface layer of pigment will begin to peel and flake off, revealing the much lighter and softer colour underneath. You must wait until the 4 week mark to be able to see the final result of your colour as that is when the skin is fully healed.
